Broadcast of 'Lucrezia Borgia' at the Salzburg Festival

Next Saturday, September 2, ORF will broadcast the performance of Donizetti's 'Lucrezia Borgia' at the Salzburg Festival with Juan Diego Flórez as Gennaro, starting at 19:30h CEST.

Juan Diego Flórez has recently debuted in the role of Gennaro in Gaetano Donizetti’s Lucrezia Borgia at the Salzburg Festival. A recording of the opera will be broadcast by ORF radio on September 2 at 19:30h CEST on the Ö1 channel and by BR radio at the same time. The two sold-out concert performances took place last August 27 & 30, and featured an extraordinary cast of soloists including: Juan Diego Flórez (Gennaro), Ildar Abdrazakov (Don Alfonso), Krassimira Stoyanova (Donna Lucrezia Borgia) and Teresa Iervolino (Maffio Orsini). Marco Armiliato conducted the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg.
