Juan Diego Flórez sings works by Rossini, Gluck, Donizetti, Massenet, and more this autumn at two of Europe’s premiere venues.
He returns to the Wiener Staatsoper stage on September 28 in performance with pianist Vincenzo Scalera, and on October 5 he sings with the Orquestra Simfònica de Balears and conductor Pablo Mielgo at Madrid’s Teatro Real. The Madrid concert proceeds will go directly to benefit Sinfonía por el Perú, Juan Diego’s organization bringing music to the lives of children in his home country of Peru. Other artists joining for this concert include soprano Marina Monzó and mezzo-soprano Karine Deshayes. For those unable to attend the performance, donations can be made at the following link.
